Travel safely and conveniently along the Mooloolah River while enjoying the New Year’s Eve festivities, including spectacular fireworks. Two ferry routes are available, connecting key locations for an easy and scenic journey.
Fireworks Schedule
Early Fireworks: 8.30 PM
Midnight Fireworks: 12:00 AM
Location: Mooloolaba Foreshore
Service 1: LaBalsa Park to Stops 4 & 5
Departure Point: LaBalsa Park (Stop 2)
Destinations: Stop 4 & Stop 5
Fare: $10 per trip per passenger
Service Hours: Continuous service from 4:00pm until midnight
Highlights: Scenic river views, festive atmosphere, safe and comfortable boarding
Service 2: Kawana Hotel to Stop 1
Departure Point: Kawana Hotel (Stop 5)
Destination: Stop 1
Fare: $15 per trip per passenger
Service Hours: Continuous service from 4:00pm until midnight
Highlights: Direct route for easy access to celebrations, fully licensed vessel, all-weather service
Ticketing Information
Purchase Options: Onboard purchase (cash or card).
Special Notes: Children under 3 travel free when accompanied by an adult.

Wait at the designated Mooloolaba Ferry stops for a fast and easy ride.
Service will run from 4 pm till late.
When the vessel is at capacity the Ferry will return to pick the next group up.
The skipper will double back as soon as possible to get you a seat.
